FAQ

Q
The strobe fires unexpectedly during setup. Why?
A
The optical sensor may detect strong light such as sunlight or indoor lighting and trigger the strobe.
When the strobe power is ON, please attach the supplied rubber cap to the optical sensor or connect an optical fiber cable.
Q
“HEAT WARNING” appears on the LCD and the strobe stops firing. Is this a malfunction?
A
No. This strobe is equipped with a thermal protection system designed to protect the internal circuitry.
If the internal temperature becomes too high, the system will temporarily limit operation until the unit cools down. The HEAT WARNING indicator shows that this protection system is active.
This may occur when the strobe fires repeatedly at or near full power in a short period.

■To help prevent this:
1) Reduce the strobe output
2) Increase the interval between flashes
3) Avoid long bursts of full-power firing

■Guidelines for Light Output and Continuous Operation
Light Level Setting Lighting interval Approximate duration for continuous illumination: 8 seconds
FULL Approximately 1 frame every 2 seconds Approximately 4 times
-0.5 Approximately 1 frame every 1.2 seconds Approximately 7 times
-1.0 Approximately 1 frame every 0.8 seconds Approximately 10 times
-1.5 Approximately 1 frame every 0.5 seconds Approximately 19 times
Below -2.0 No limit No limit
*Exceeding this guideline may trigger the internal protection function (HEAT WARNING), limiting light emission.
*The recommended number of uses varies depending on ambient temperature, water temperature, and usage environment.
